Cactus land

Hey hey! I am finally back online for new updates on lifedevivi, It has been a super hectic month because I officially moved from WA to TX💁🏻 Long drive? Yes, for someone who has never been to a road trip before, it was an interesting experience lol.

I spent about a week on the road and drove about 6-7 hours per day on average, the first day was unbelievable, 9 hours straight from Seattle, WA to Redding, CA! 🤣 Hahaha I know guys, I’m very greedy and thought I could make it alive, which I barely did…..

We decided to spend a day in Phoenix during this trip since I have been obsessed with cactus and other tropical dessert plants. I knew Phoenix is a hot place but I underestimated the intensity, it was H-A-W-T. The whole day I was looking for shades with my doggies 😂 and crazy crave for water…

Yelp led me to this cute restaurant called ‘The Dressing Room‘. Despite how much I wanted to sit inside with cool AC, we had to sit outside on the patio because of our dogs, gladly the staff was so friendly and did whatever they can to cool us down. Fresh food and cocktails, great happy hour price! 🙌🏻 Check them out if you’re around Phoenix (@thedressingroomphx).

My goal in this town was to take photos with a gigantic cactus 🌵😎 (If I could bring you home to my backyard, I swear I would lol)

Love at first sight at this tropical midi shirt dress from Zara!

☝🏻 aren’t my babes so photogenic?

what’s up Georgetown

One of the most unique places in Seattle? Right below downtown and around the industrial area, there’s a cool district called Georgetown. Often I’ll think about the Georgetown in DC or TX, and this one is a very small area but filled with vintage and hipster stores, which kept me exploring around and had lots of fun shooting!

You’ll notice you entered an unfamiliar scene when driving down to Georgetown, there are lots of warehouses, vintage cars, classic looking breweries etc. One place you should check out is Georgetown Trailer Park Mall, this mall is full of vintage trailers and people selling some interesting stuff there, I got freaked out from ‘human head statues’ hanging everywhere lol… yes I’m dead serious, be prepared! 😂

Kind of want a glamping trip while having these little RVs behind me…..

I have gotten a lot of people asking me about this sunnies! They are from zero UV and you can get them on here.

You Dot This

Happy Hump Day guys! 🤘🏻 It’s mid-week and I hope you guys are having a productive week and catch as many sunsets as you can.

When you see a giant flowers background, you stay there, strike poses, take 100 photos then delete 97 of them….. 😹 I’m kidding because my man is getting better at this! I gotta give him an award yeah?

The classic polka dots are heads turning! Felt like I could make a video with Lana Del Ray’s music in this Kimchi Blue’s dress….

Alright, time to pack 20 outfits for my upcoming 10 days trip lol! VIVI IS FINALLY TRAVELLING 🤗 Please make sure to follow my Instagram @lifedevivi for updates❤️

Honey mustard vibe & new haircut!

Last time getting a shoulder length haircut was about a decade ago and I hated it because it was an impulsive decision made by a 10 years old. lol! It has been a crazy journey for my hair since last year and I decided to chop off all my damaged dying hair… seriously if you have super thin hair like mine, take your time to dye and maintain. Given that everyone has different types of hair 😊

Despite I’m doing this to get my healthy hair back, I’m loving this hair length! It’s super low maintenance and it dries fast… no kidding 😂 I have pretty oily hair so daily hair wash is a must, this is saving me so much time.

^ My new favorite burger spot Shake Shake Shake… Food porn right there. Their milkshake is ahhhhmazing. 🤤

Slowly getting tanner! Garden work is so effective you know… having your own backyard could be a headache if you have 2 dogs  here to destroy 😂

Bumped into this vintage Cadillac oldie but goodie! Super friendly owner who suggested me to jump on it and take more photos hahah! Sure why not 😉

Nostalgic stroll

GUESS WHAT☀️ I’m moving to Austin in a little less than 2 months.. cannot tell you how excited I am with all the Texas heat! Ever since I came to the US about 5 years ago, I’ve spent my entire college years in Seattle, from not knowing how it’s like to live on my own in a foreign country, to now I’m ready to call this place home. It’s time to move on for a new adventure in a new city! Another house hunting is in progress 🤗

Lately, I’m dealing with so many decisions making with moving to another state and life is interesting. I want my blog to not just be about current fashion and food I like, but also personal. We all have our struggles going on in life and life is not as perfect as it seems on social media, I hope to be relatable and spread positive energy with each one of you❤️

Vintage glasses are my new favorite this summer! A lot of trends this season look familiar? I believe the 80s and 90s fashion are totally rocking these days.

This one piece wrap dress I’m wearing is from Kooding and it reminds me of a old times classic diner’s waitress look. I could totally take your order then put a pen behind my ear hahaha😂!
